Q:  Is it Legal?

A:  YES!!!  The USGA Rulebook, under the Use of Equipment – Rule 4.3.2 & 4.3.3, it is within the rules.  For the specific verbiage and rulings, click HERE.

• Yardages and weather information must be collected BEFORE the round. Our products are pre-made and qualify under that ruling
  • Personal yardages need to be collected and written down BEFORE the round.
  • Weather information (including wind) can be used as long as it is not gathered at the course or during the round. Once again, our product is pre-made to factor in common conditions.

Q:  Will this help with crosswind?

A:  At this time, Approach Advisor does not take crosswind into effect.  Our products provide an accurate guide to take on headwind and tailwind approach shots.

Q:  Can I use this in tournament play?

A:  Under USGA rules, Approach Advisor conforms to the rules and regulations, however, always check with local officials prior to your round.
